Does Illinois law affect AI features that use faces, voices or fingerprints?
Yes, significantly. The Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act requires informed written consent before collecting biometric identifiers such as face geometry, voiceprints or fingerprints, plus a published retention and destruction policy. If your product touches biometrics we design consent, retention and deletion in from the start — or find a way to avoid collecting biometric data at all — and your counsel confirms the approach.
Can you build for regulated trading and financial firms?
Yes. We build with financial regulators' recordkeeping and supervision expectations in mind — complete audit trails, approval steps wherever money or client data moves, and clean separation between test and production. We sign NDAs and data-processing agreements, and your compliance team signs off before anything goes live.
